There are vast numbers of shopping carts available, and a quick search will yield an overwhelming number for your review. Sorting through all of them can be exasperating! They can range from free scripts to thousands of dollars.

If you have our gold or platinum plans, you will have a cgi-bin, which is where your scripts will be placed. Most carts require this. However, if you are leasing our cart (Dansie) you do not need a cgi-bin, as it runs from our site.

Unlike many free scripts (as well as high priced ones!), the Dansie script allows multiple payment methods (such as mail in checks, money orders, paypal, online checks, credit cards), and easy "coupons" for you to give discounts to your customers if you want, and a lot of flexibility to build in a variety of options.

(NOTE: We highly recommend this script, but we can also install other scripts for you, and the fee will vary depending on the script. Just send us a note with the details of the script and we'll provide a price. It can take anywhere from minutes to hours, depending on the script.)

Dansie is a low cost cart option, and has lots of features for a reasonable price. It has become easier for the beginner to use. We now have two options for your consideration.

1.) Purchase the script. You can purchase the script (Go Here), and we would set up your variables so that you can begin to add the items to your store. You would then simply set up your store with your products. The current price is $150 to purchase and you set up variables, or $175 and we set them up for you. When you purchase the script, it would 'go with you' should you ever (!) leave Khimaira Webhosting. You own the license to the script.

2) Lease the script. This has become a very popular option! For only $5.00 a month (we set this up using the PayPal subscription plan for easy payment), you can use the script, which is located on our site. After a period of time, your lease payments end (the duration varies by plan. Go HERE to see more)

You will have all the many features of the Dansie cart,! You get an admin interface where you can change your variable information (details on your ordering methods, colors of cart, etc.) at any time. As soon as you have met the 'lifetime requirements' of the lease, you no long pay any fees! Should you choose to leave Khimaira WebHosting, your lease arrangement would stop. You would not own the license to the script, as you are simply a user on our license. Yet, you have unlimited use of the script as long as you are with our hosting service!
